Translating your email designs with Lokalise

Use the Lokalise API with Emailify ​

If you use Lokalise, Emailify can send your source email copy directly to your Lokalise project and then import your translated versions back into Figma.

Step 1: Connect your Lokalise project ​

  1. Click the Localize button in Emailify.
  2. Choose Lokalise API from the localization options.
  3. Paste your Lokalise API Token.
  4. Paste your Lokalise Project ID.

Step 2: Upload source text from Figma ​

After your project is connected, choose the email frames you want to localize and click Upload. Emailify will export the text content from those frames into your Lokalise project using the base locale configured in Lokalise.

Step 3: Translate in Lokalise ​

Open your Lokalise project in the browser and add or review translations for the target locales you need.

Step 4: Import translated frames back into Figma ​

Back in Emailify, click Import Translations to pull the translated content into Figma. Emailify will create translated cloned frames for each locale you import.
