What this video covers
This tutorial shows how to export HTML emails from the Emailify Figma plugin to Zapier, then automatically upload the exported zip file to a Google Drive folder. It walks through creating a Zapier webhook trigger, connecting it to Emailify, and finishing the workflow with a Google Drive Upload File action.
Things you'll need
- A Figma file with the Emailify Figma plugin installed
- A Zapier account
- A connected Google Drive account
Steps
- Open Figma, run the Emailify plugin from Plugins > Saved plugins, and use an Emailify-ready template or design to preview the email.
- In Emailify, click Export HTML, change the export option from the default HTML email zip download to Webhooks > Zapier, and paste in a Zapier webhook URL.
- In Zapier, create a new Zap, add Webhooks as the Trigger, choose Catch Hook, and copy the generated webhook URL.
- Paste the webhook URL into Emailify, then click Upload to Zapier to send a test export and confirm Zapier receives the file and file name.
- Add a Google Drive action in Zapier, connect Google Drive, choose Upload File, and select a folder such as Emailify template uploads.
- Map the webhook File and File name fields to Google Drive, leave Convert to document set to false, and test the step to upload the zip file to the folder.
- Publish the Zap and rename it if needed so future Emailify exports are automatically sent to the connected Google Drive folder.
