Things you'll need

  • Figma with the Emailify plugin available
  • An exported HTML email from Emailify
  • A Litmus.com account

Steps

  1. Open your Figma file, find Emailify in the Resources icon under the Plugins tab, and save or run the plugin from Saved plugins.
  2. Assume the email design is ready, then click export HTML in Emailify and make sure upload host image URLs is selected before exporting.
  3. Download the zip file, unzip it, and open the HTML email file in a code editor so you can copy the HTML.
  4. In Litmus.com, go to the test tab, click Create new, choose Test, and click Bring in your email.
  5. Use View more ways to create an email, paste in the HTML, add a subject line, and click Done to upload it.
  6. Use Choose email clients to select the Outlook versions you want to test, then click Run previews.
  7. Review the rendered Outlook previews, including desktop, web, mobile, and dark mode results.
