What this video covers

This video shows how to export an HTML email designed in Figma to Braze using the Emailify Figma plugin. It covers saving and running the plugin, selecting the Braze integration, entering the Braze API key and endpoint, and uploading the email template into Braze.

Things you'll need

  • A Figma file with an Emailify email template ready to export.
  • A Braze account with access to API keys and email templates.

Steps

  1. Open your Figma file, find Emailify from the Resources icon, and save or run the plugin from the Plugins tab.
  2. Run Emailify from Saved plugins and prepare your email template in Figma, including the Braze footer so the unsubscribe link is included.
  3. Click export HTML, switch from standard HTML email export to Platform Integrations, and choose Braze.
  4. In Braze, find your API endpoint region and set the matching endpoint in Emailify, then create a new API key with the templates.email.create permission.
  5. Copy the Braze API key, paste it into the Emailify REST API key field, add a subject line, and click upload to Braze.
  6. In Braze, open Templates > Email templates and select the HTML editor tab to refresh and view the uploaded template.
  7. Open the uploaded template to confirm the subject line and email body, then use preview and test or the mobile HTML view if needed.
