Export HTML emails from Figma to Constant Contact

This tutorial shows how to use the Emailify Figma plugin to design an HTML email in Figma, export it as responsive HTML for Constant Contact, and paste that code into a Constant Contact email campaign. It also shows how to preview the email, include the Constant Contact unsubscribe footer, and finish the campaign setup in Constant Contact.

Things you'll need

  • A Figma file with the Emailify Figma plugin available
  • A Constant Contact account with access to email campaigns

Steps

  1. Open the Figma file, find Emailify in Resources or Saved plugins, and run the Emailify Figma plugin.
  2. Create a new Emailify frame and build the email design in Figma.
  3. In the footer tab, add the Constant Contact footer so the unsubscribe tag is included.
  4. Preview the email in the Emailify plugin, including the mobile view if needed.
  5. Click export HTML, choose the Constant Contact platform option, add the subject line and preheader text, and export the zip file.
  6. Open the downloaded zip file, find index.html, and copy the HTML from the browser page source.
  7. In Constant Contact, create a new email with Use your own HTML, replace the placeholder content with the copied HTML, save, preview, and continue to the campaign steps.
