Open and use layer settings in Emailify

Emailify lets you apply HTML attributes and responsive overrides from the Settings panel for any supported Emailify layer in your design.

Open layer settings ​

  1. Select any Emailify layer in your Figma design (for example: Text, Image, Button, Row, Column, Wrapper, Hero, Social Icon Link, Navigation Link).
  2. Click the Settings button in the Emailify plugin panel (or in the HTML preview window).
  3. Update any available attributes for that selected layer.

Depending on the layer type, this includes options like clickable URL links, image alt text, show/hide controls, mobile overrides, dark mode overrides, and other HTML export attributes.

Apply settings in bulk ​

You can also apply settings to multiple layers at once.

  1. Multi-select two or more Emailify layers of the same type in Figma (for example, multiple text layers or multiple image layers).
  2. Open the Settings panel.
  3. Confirm Bulk Edit Mode is active.
  4. Change any setting value in the panel.

When Bulk Edit Mode is active, setting changes are applied to all selected layers of that same type.

If selected layers have different existing values, Emailify will detect and report mixed values. Changing a setting will override that specific setting across all selected layers.
