Things you'll need

  • A Figma file with an Emailify email design
  • An Aweber account

Steps

  1. Open Emailify from Figma using Resources or Saved plugins, then create a new Emailify container and build the email design.
  2. In the Footer tab, add the Aweber footer so the unsubscribe link and viewing browser link are included.
  3. Preview the email in Emailify, then click export HTML, choose Aweber, add the subject line and preheader text, and download the zip file.
  4. Unzip the export and locate the index.html file for the frame.
  5. In Aweber, go to Messages, click Create a message, choose raw HTML editor, click Source, delete the default content, and drag in index.html.
  6. Save, preview and test, add the subject line in Aweber, then save and exit before scheduling the message.
  7. To save the design as a reusable template, go to Email template manager, choose Design my own template, select Import a template, paste or drag in index.html, then click Template Builder and Save and exit.
