What this video covers

This tutorial shows how to use the Emailify Figma plugin to design an HTML email, export it as a zip file, and import the resulting custom HTML template into SendX. It also shows how to apply the template to a SendX newsletter campaign and send a test email.

Things you'll need

  • A Figma file with the Emailify plugin available
  • A SendX account

Steps

  1. Open your Figma file, find Emailify in Resources, save or run the plugin, and click Add New Emailify Container.
  2. Build the email design, then add the SendX footer from the Footer tab so the unsubscribe and viewing browser links are pre-populated.
  3. Use Preview to check the email, then click Export HTML, choose the SendX platform integration, enter the subject line and preheader text, and click Export for SendX.
  4. Download the zip file, unzip it, and locate the index.html file inside the folder named after your Figma frame.
  5. In SendX, go to Settings > Templates, create a New Email Template, remove the default rows, set the content area width to 600 pixels, and drag in the HTML block.
  6. Open the exported index.html in a browser, use View Page Source to copy the HTML, paste it into the SendX HTML block, and submit the template.
  7. Create a Newsletter Campaign in SendX, apply the custom template, add the email subject line, and send a test before finishing the campaign.
