What this video covers

This video shows how to use the Emailify Figma plugin to export an HTML email to Netlify and generate a shareable preview link. It also covers creating a Netlify personal access token, changing the generated site name, and opening or downloading the uploaded preview files.

Things you'll need

• A Figma file with an email already designed using Emailify components.
• A Netlify account, or the ability to create one for free.

Steps

1. Open the Resources icon in Figma, search for Emailify under the Plugins tab, and run or save the plugin.
2. In Emailify, click Export HTML and choose Netlify under the Upload Preview Link section.
3. In Netlify, create a Personal access token from the applications page, then copy the token.
4. Paste the token into the Emailify field with the key icon to connect to Netlify and generate a new site.
5. If needed, change the Netlify site name, then refresh Emailify to load the updated site name and domain.
6. Fill in the email details and click Upload to Netlify to generate the HTML, upload the images, and publish the preview.
7. Open the Netlify Preview URL or download the zip file if you want a copy of the uploaded files.
