What this video covers

This tutorial shows how to use the Emailify Figma plugin to upload an HTML email test directly from Figma to Mailgun Inspect. It covers creating a private API key, choosing the correct account region, uploading the test, and reviewing its email client and device previews.

Things you'll need

• A completed HTML email design in a Figma file
• Emailify installed or available from Figma's Resources menu
• A Mailgun account with access to Inspect email previews and permission to create private API keys

Steps

1. Open your Figma file, find Emailify from the actions icon, and run it from Saved Plugins.
2. Open the HTML preview and check that the email design, links, and content are ready to test.
3. Click Export HTML, scroll to Upload For Testing, and choose Mailgun Inspect.
4. In Mailgun, create a private API key, copy it securely, and paste it into the Mailgun API Key field in Emailify.
5. Choose the US or EU region that matches your Mailgun account, then add a subject line and optional preheader text.
6. Select the email and click Send To Mailgun Inspect so Emailify can upload its images and generated HTML.
7. Open Inspect → Email Testing in Mailgun and review the uploaded test across the available email clients and devices.
