This tutorial shows how to use the Emailify Figma plugin to upload an HTML email directly from Figma to Resend. It covers creating a Resend API key, choosing whether to publish the template, adding a subject line and preheader, and verifying the uploaded template in Resend.

Things you'll need

• A completed HTML email design in a Figma file
• Emailify Figma plugin
• A Resend account with permission to create API keys and templates

Steps

1. Open your Figma file, find Emailify from the actions icon, and run it from Saved Plugins.
2. Open the HTML preview and check that the email design, links, and content are ready to export.
3. Click Export HTML, scroll to Platform Integrations, and choose Resend.
4. In Resend, create an API key with access to templates, copy it securely, and paste it into the Resend API Key field in Emailify.
5. Choose whether to publish the template immediately, then add the subject line and optional preheader text.
6. Select the email and click Upload To Resend so Emailify can upload its images and HTML template.
7. Open Templates in Resend, refresh the list, and inspect the uploaded template to verify its HTML, images, and subject line.
