Uploading your emails to Ghost

Upload an Emailify email to Ghost as an unpublished email-only draft through its Admin API.

Upload a draft ​

  1. In Ghost Admin, create a custom integration and copy its Admin API key.
  2. In the Emailify export panel, select Ghost (API).
  3. Enter the Ghost Admin URL and Admin API key in id:secret format.
  4. Enter the subject and preheader, then click Upload Draft To Ghost.

Emailify hosts the email images first and creates an unpublished, email-only post draft. It does not publish, schedule, or send the post.

HTML limitations ​

Ghost converts imported HTML into editor content. Some email-specific markup may be simplified or removed, so the Ghost draft may not match Emailify's preview exactly. Review the draft in Ghost before choosing a newsletter or sending it.
