Things you'll need

  • A Figma email template already designed in Emailify
  • An Intercom account with access to Email settings and templates

Steps

  1. Open Emailify from Figma by searching for it in Actions or from Saved Plugins.
  2. Prepare the email template in Figma and add the Intercom footer so the unsubscribe URL is included; leave or rely on the hidden content tag if needed.
  3. In Emailify, choose Export HTML, switch the export option to Intercom under Platform Integrations, enter the subject line and pre-header text, then click Export for Intercom.
  4. Download the zip file, open the exported folder, and use the index.html file to view or copy the generated HTML source.
  5. In Intercom, go to Settings, Channels, Email, then Email Settings, and open Create or Manage Templates under Email Templates for Outbound Email.
  6. Create a New Template from HTML, replace the placeholder HTML with the copied source from index.html, name the template, and save it.
