What this video covers

This tutorial shows how to use the Emailify Figma plugin to export a designed HTML email, then import that HTML into MailerLite as a Regular Campaign. It also covers adding the MailerLite footer, copying the exported index.html code, and optionally adding a plain text version.

Things you'll need

  • A Figma file with Emailify components already designed
  • A MailerLite account

Steps

  1. Open your Figma file, find Emailify in Resources under the Plugins tab, and run or save the plugin from Saved plugins.
  2. Add your email components in Figma and make sure to include a MailerLite footer from the footer tab so the unsubscribe and view-in-browser tags are pre-populated.
  3. Preview the email in Emailify, then click export HTML and choose MailerLite as the export option.
  4. Set the email name, optional subject line, and preheader text, then click export for MailerLite and download the zip file.
  5. Open the zip, copy the contents of the exported index.html file, and log into MailerLite.
  6. In MailerLite, create a new Regular Campaign, choose Custom HTML editor, import HTML, and paste the copied code into the editor.
  7. Optionally add the plain text version from plain text version.txt, then save it and continue with review and scheduling.
