The Randomize subcategory in the Layouts tab creates a randomized Emailify frame from built-in preset components.
Randomize layouts are useful when you want to quickly explore a complete email structure without choosing every row manually. Emailify keeps the generated layout sensible by placing a header at the top, a footer at the bottom, and mixing hero, content, product, proof, and CTA sections in between.
Generate a Randomize layout
- Open Emailify in Figma.
- Click the + icon in the plugin header to open the New Email modal.
- Click the Layouts tab, then click the Randomize subcategory.
- Click Generate Layout to preview a randomized stack of Emailify preset thumbnails.
- Keep clicking Generate Layout until you find a structure you like.
- Click Insert to Figma to create the Emailify frame in the current Figma page.
After the frame is inserted, you can edit the placeholder copy, images, colors, spacing, and layer settings just like any other Emailify design.
How Randomize chooses layouts
Randomize layouts are generated client-side from Emailify's built-in preset components. The generator uses simple structure rules so the result feels like a usable email rather than a completely arbitrary stack:
- Header presets stay at the top.
- Footer presets stay at the bottom.
- Hero or intro sections are kept near the top.
- Content, product, checklist, proof, and CTA sections are mixed in the middle.
- Duplicate presets are avoided where possible.
The preview uses the same preset thumbnails shown in the Layouts tab, so you can review the rough shape before inserting it into Figma.
Randomize layouts do not use your written brief or call an external AI service. They are generated inside the plugin from built-in Emailify presets.
