Things you'll need

  • A Figma file with an Emailify email template ready to export
  • The Emailify Figma plugin saved in Figma

Steps

  1. Open your Figma file and find Emailify through the Resources icon, then save or run the plugin from the Plugins tab.
  2. Run Emailify from right-click > Plugins > Saved plugins > Emailify.
  3. Prepare an email template in Figma, such as one from the template Gallery, with links and content ready to export.
  4. Click export HTML, choose the HTML option or another platform integration, then export the design to a zip file.
  5. Open the exported folder and locate the index.html file for the HTML email and the plain text version.txt file for the plain text version.
  6. Open the plain text version.txt file in a text editor to review the converted content and links in plain text.
  7. If using a supported integration such as Salesforce, Pardot, or Klaviyo, let the plugin upload the HTML and plain text version automatically.
