Creating emails with Layouts

Use the Layouts tab to create complete Emailify email frames from built-in preset components.

The Layouts tab in the New Email modal creates a new Emailify frame from built-in Emailify preset components.

Unlike the Figma Templates tab, which opens complete Figma Community files, Layouts build a new email directly in your current Figma file using hardcoded placeholder content that you can immediately edit.

Create a layout

  1. Open Emailify in Figma.
  2. Click the + icon in the plugin header to open the New Email modal.
  3. Click the Layouts tab.
  4. Choose a layout category, such as Randomize, Promo, E-Com, Lifecycle, Newsletter, or Transactional.
  5. Click a layout thumbnail to create a new Emailify frame in the current Figma page.

After the frame is created, you can edit the copy, images, colors, spacing, and layer settings just like any other Emailify email design.

Randomize layouts

The Randomize subcategory in Layouts generates a logical layout by mixing compatible built-in presets. It keeps the email structure sensible by placing header presets at the top, footer presets at the bottom, and mixing hero, content, product, proof, and CTA sections in between.

See Randomize Layouts for the full workflow.

When to use Layouts

Use Layouts when you want a fast in-file starting point for common email types, including announcements, product launches, abandoned carts, onboarding emails, newsletters, receipts, reminders, and account updates.

If you want a fully designed example file to duplicate and inspect, use Figma Templates. If you want Emailify to generate a randomized built-in structure with Randomize, use Randomize Layouts.
