What this video covers

This video shows how to use the Emailify Figma plugin to export an email design from Figma as an HTML template and upload it directly to SendGrid. It also shows how to create a SendGrid API key, add the Emailify SendGrid footer, and verify the uploaded template in SendGrid’s Design Library.

Things you'll need

• A Figma file with an email design already created.
• A SendGrid account with an API key created.

Steps

1. Install Emailify from the Figma Community under the Plugins tab.
2. Open your Figma file, right-click, and run Plugins > Emailify.
3. Add the SendGrid footer from the Footer category so the unsubscribe link is pre-filled.
4. Click Export HTML, change the upload target from HTML to SendGrid, and enter your SendGrid API key.
5. In SendGrid, go to Settings > API Keys, create a key named Emailify with Full Access, and copy it.
6. Paste the API key into Emailify and click Upload to SendGrid.
7. Open SendGrid Design Library to view, edit, and preview the uploaded template; optionally download the zip file.
