What this video covers
This tutorial shows how to use the Emailify Figma plugin to automatically translate an email design into multiple languages with either the ChatGPT API or a manual ChatGPT prompt. It also shows how to import the translated frames back into Figma and export the localized emails as HTML.
Things you'll need
- An existing email design already set up in Emailify
- For the ChatGPT API method, an OpenAI account with billing and an API key
Steps
- Open a Figma file, run the Emailify plugin, and click Localize in the header.
- Choose either ChatGPT API or ChatGPT prompt under the AI translation options.
- For ChatGPT API, enter an OpenAI API key, choose a model, select the target languages, and click Translate and Import.
- For ChatGPT prompt, click Generate prompt, then Copy prompt to clipboard, paste it into chatgpt.com, and copy the ChatGPT response.
- Paste the ChatGPT reply into the Emailify field labeled paste the ChatGPT reply below, then click Translate Figma frame.
- Review the newly created translated frames in Figma, such as French, Korean, and German versions.
- If needed, preview the result as HTML and use Export HTML to generate the HTML, images, code, and ZIP file.
