Things you'll need

  • A Figma file with an email design ready to export.
  • An Emailify Figma plugin setup.
  • A Litmus.com account or access to Litmus.com.

Steps

  1. Open your Figma file, find Emailify under Resources > Plugins, and run or save the plugin from Saved plugins.
  2. With your email design ready, click Export HTML in Emailify, keep upload hosted images selected, and export the HTML.
  3. Download the JavaScript file, open the exported folder, and copy the HTML from the generated email file.
  4. In Litmus.com, go to the test tab, create a new test, choose test, and use bring in your email to paste the HTML and add a subject line.
  5. Click done to upload the HTML, then open choose email clients and clear the default client selections.
  6. Select the Gmail clients you want to test, including Gmail app, Gmail on Android, Gmail on iOS, and Gmail in web browsers like Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
  7. Click run previews and review the rendered Gmail previews for desktop and mobile, including light and dark mode.
