Export HTML emails from Figma to Mailgun

What this video covers

This video shows how to use the Emailify Figma plugin to export an HTML email from Figma directly into a Mailgun account. It covers saving and opening the plugin, selecting the Mailgun integration, entering the Mailgun domain and private API key, and uploading the template so it appears in Mailgun.

Things you'll need

  • A Figma file with an email designed in Emailify
  • A Mailgun account with a domain and private API key

Steps

  1. Open Figma, use the Resources icon to search for Emailify, and save it to Figma plugins or run it from the Plugins menu.
  2. In Emailify, make sure your email design is already created, then click Export HTML.
  3. Change the export target from HTML Email to Mailgun under Platform Integrations.
  4. Copy your Mailgun domain name and private API key from Mailgun and paste them into the Emailify fields.
  5. Click Upload to Mailgun to generate the HTML, upload images, and send the template to Mailgun.
  6. In Mailgun, open Sending and then Templates to find the uploaded template and view the available code snippets.
