What this video covers
This video shows how to use the Pitchdeck Figma plugin to export a Figma presentation deck to Google Slides. It covers installing the plugin, arranging slides and speaker notes in Pitchdeck, exporting as a PowerPoint file, and opening that file in Google Slides.
Things you'll need
- A Figma file with top-level frames for the presentation
- The Pitchdeck Presentation Studio plugin installed in Figma
- A Google account with Google Slides access
Steps
- Install the Pitchdeck Presentation Studio plugin from Figma Community if it is not already installed.
- In Figma, right-click the presentation file, go to plugins, and open Pitchdeck Presentation Studio.
- Review the imported top-level frames as slides, reorder them if needed, and add speaker notes to each slide.
- Select the export format drop-down, choose PowerPoint file, and click Export PowerPoint.
- Save the exported file to your computer.
- Open Google Slides, create or open a blank presentation, then go to File, Open, and upload the exported PowerPoint file.
- After the file opens in Google Slides, edit slide elements and add animations there if needed.
