What this video covers
The video shows how to use the Pitchdeck Figma plugin to export a slide deck from Figma as a native Keynote file. It also explains how slide order, speaker notes, and animations behave during the export process.
Things you'll need
- A Figma file containing the presentation frames
- The Pitchdeck Figma plugin installed
- Keynote installed to open the exported file
Steps
- Install Pitchdeck Presentation Studio from the Figma Community or Plugins area if it is not already installed.
- Open a Figma file that contains only the frames you want in the presentation, then run Pitchdeck Presentation Studio from the Plugins menu.
- Review the detected frames as slides, reorder them in the Pitchdeck plugin if needed, and add speaker notes per slide.
- Choose the export format dropdown and select Keynote file, then click Export Keynote.
- Save the generated file to your computer and open it in Keynote by double-clicking it or using File > Open.
- In Keynote, confirm the slides and presenter notes carried across, then add any Keynote animations manually if desired.
