What this video covers
This tutorial shows how to use the Pitchdeck Presentation Studio Figma plugin to add slide links and external URL links to elements in a presentation deck, then export the deck as a clickable interactive PDF. It also demonstrates how the exported PDF behaves in Preview, how to edit or remove links, and how link targets are preserved even if slide order changes.
Things you'll need
- Figma
- Pitchdeck Presentation Studio installed from the Figma Community
- A presentation deck or Figma file with frames to link
Steps
- Install Pitchdeck Presentation Studio from the Figma Community if it is not already installed.
- Open your presentation file in Figma, then launch the plugin by right-clicking and choosing Plugins > Pitchdeck Presentation Studio.
- In the URL/Slide Links tab, select any child element inside a frame and assign either a link to another slide or a link to an external URL.
- When your links are set, click Export Presentation, choose PDF deck, keep the desired quality setting, and export to PDF.
- Download the .pdf file, open it in Preview, and test the clickable slide links and external URLs.
- Reopen the plugin to edit links, clear a link by removing its URL, or exclude a slide to remove its linked target from the export.
- If needed, reorder slides and note that links continue pointing to the same linked frame content rather than the slide number.
