Things you'll need

  • Figma
  • Pitchdeck presentation plugin
  • A LottieFiles account

Steps

  1. Open the Figma file, find Pitchdeck in Resources, and run or save the Pitchdeck plugin.
  2. Use Figma frames as slides, then open the GIFs/Videos/Embedds tab in the plugin.
  3. Go to LottieFiles, choose an animation, and copy its Lottie animation URL.
  4. Paste the Lottie animation URL into the embed field for the Figma layer or frame you want to animate.
  5. Repeat the copy-and-paste process for any other slides that need Lottie animations.
  6. Click Export Presentation, then Update Web Presentation to generate the presentation link.
  7. Open the link in a browser and move through the slides to see the embedded Lottie animations.
