What this video covers
This tutorial shows how to use the Pitchdeck Figma plugin to automatically add and manage page numbers on Figma slides. It also covers styling the slide number component, changing its position and color behavior, and keeping numbers in sync as slides are reordered, added, or removed.
Things you'll need
- A Figma file with frames already set up as slides
- The Pitchdeck Figma plugin
Steps
- Open Figma, go to the Resources icon, search for Pitchdeck under Plugins, and run or save the plugin.
- Run Pitchdeck from Saved Plugins in the Figma canvas.
- Click the Page icon in the plugin to open the page number settings.
- Turn on Enable Auto Slide Numbers to create the slide number component and add numbers to frames.
- Adjust the number position, leading zeros, text color mode, and the Dark Text Color, Light Text Color, or Custom Text Color from the master component.
- Change the slide order or remove slides and let Pitchdeck automatically update the numbering.
- Export the deck to PDF, PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, or the Pitchdeck web application to keep the page numbers in the output.
