This tutorial shows how to use the Pitchdeck Figma plugin to export slides from Figma Slides into an editable PowerPoint (.pptx) file. It demonstrates copying slides into a normal Figma design file, loading them into Pitchdeck, and exporting them with PowerPoint settings.

Things you'll need

• Figma Slides
• Pitchdeck Figma plugin
• A normal Figma design file

Steps

1. Open a normal Figma design file, find Pitchdeck in Resources, and save or run the plugin from Plugins > Saved plugins.
2. In Figma Slides, create or open a slide deck, switch to Grid View, select the slides you want, and copy them.
3. Paste the copied slides into the normal Figma design file, then refresh layers or rerun Pitchdeck so the frames load into the plugin.
4. In Pitchdeck, click Export, choose PowerPoint (.pptx) under the presentation apps group, and adjust export settings if needed.
5. Click Export for PowerPoint, then download the ready .pptx file when prompted.
6. Open the downloaded PowerPoint file to verify the editable slides and make sure the required fonts are installed locally if needed.
