Export Figma slides to Canva with one click

Things you'll need

  • A Figma file with slide deck frames or components already designed
  • A Canva account

Steps

  1. Open the Figma file, find Pitchdeck in the resources icon, and save or run the plugin from the plugins list.
  2. Load the parent-level Figma frames or components that you want to use as slides.
  3. Open the export menu in Pitchdeck, switch the presentation format from Pitchdeck to Canva, and select the Canva export option under static deck options.
  4. Choose the export settings you want, such as retina images and image compression, then click export for Canva.
  5. Download the PSD file when the export finishes and save it locally.
  6. Go to canva.com, log in, and drag the PSD file into Canva to upload it.
  7. Open the uploaded project in Canva and edit the imported layers, text, and images as needed.
