Embed Google Sheets in Figma presentations

What this video covers

This video shows how to embed a Google Sheet directly into a Figma presentation using the Pitchdeck presentation Figma plugin. It demonstrates publishing a Google Sheet to the web, pasting the published link into Pitchdeck’s GIFs/Videos/Embeds tab, and exporting the presentation to the Pitchdeck web app.

Things you'll need

  • A Figma file with frames ready for presentation.
  • A Google Sheet that can be published to the web.

Steps

  1. Open a Figma file, find Pitchdeck from the Resources icon under the Plugins tab, and run or save the plugin.
  2. In Pitchdeck, choose the Figma frame where the Google Sheet embed should appear and open the GIFs/Videos/Embeds tab.
  3. In Google Sheets, go to File > Share > Publish to Web, publish the sheet, then copy the published link from the Link tab.
  4. Paste the Google Sheets link into the embed input box in Pitchdeck to load it into the selected slide.
  5. Click Export Presentation, then choose Upload Web Presentation or Update Web Presentation to upload the slides.
  6. Open the generated presentation link in the browser and use the embedded Google Sheet inside the slide.
