Import PowerPoint (.pptx) to Figma Slides

Things you'll need

  • A Figma app account with access to a regular Figma design file and Figma Slides
  • The Pitchdeck Figma plugin
  • An existing PowerPoint .pptx file

Steps

  1. Open a regular Figma design file and find the Pitchdeck plugin from Resources or Saved plugins.
  2. Run the plugin and use the Import .pptx button or drag and drop a PowerPoint .pptx file into the drop zone.
  3. Wait for the PowerPoint slides to import into Figma as editable frames.
  4. Select all imported frames, then copy them.
  5. Open a new Figma Slides file and click start from scratch.
  6. Make sure list view is selected, then right-click in the sidebar list and paste the copied frames.
  7. Edit, move, replace images, or rearrange the imported slides in Figma Slides as needed.
