What this video covers
The video shows how to use the Pitchdeck Figma plugin to export a collaborative presentation from Figma to a PowerPoint file. It also shows that speaker notes carry over, while animations are not included in PowerPoint, PDF file, or Keynote exports.
Things you'll need
- A Figma file with presentation slide designs
- The Pitchdeck plugin installed in Figma
Steps
- Install the Figma plugin called Pitchdeck by searching for Pitchdeck Presentation Studio in the Figma Community/plugins area.
- Open your Figma file, then run Pitchdeck Presentation Studio from the Plugins menu.
- Review the mirrored slides in Pitchdeck, adjust the slide order if needed by dragging the handles, and add speaker notes per slide.
- Open the export format menu and choose PowerPoint file instead of the animated Pitchdeck URL option.
- Click Export PowerPoint and save the generated PowerPoint file when prompted.
- Open the saved file in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Apple Keynote to review the imported slides and speaker notes.
- If you make changes later, update the Figma file and rerun the Pitchdeck plugin to export again.
