What this video covers

This video shows how to use the Pitchdeck Figma plugin to turn a Figma slide deck into an animated presentation with slide order, speaker notes, and per-layer animations. It also demonstrates how to upload the deck to a secure Pitchdeck URL and present it in browser-based windowed or fullscreen mode with controls, pointer, notes, and remote access.

Things you'll need

  • A Figma design file with frames arranged as presentation slides.
  • The Pitchdeck plugin installed in Figma.

Steps

  1. Install the Pitchdeck plugin from Figma Community by searching for "Pitchdeck" and clicking install on "Pitchdeck Presentation Studio".
  2. Open your Figma file, then run the plugin from right-click > plugins > Pitchdeck Presentation Studio.
  3. Review the imported frames as slides, reorder them in the plugin if needed, and use the Refresh icon to reload slides after making changes in Figma.
  4. Add Speaker Notes for each slide and assign animations to individual layers using the animation select box and timing controls.
  5. Copy and paste animations between layers, or set a layer to "no animation" to disable it.
  6. Choose the "Pitchdeck URL" export option, then click "Upload Presentation" or "Update Presentation" to generate a secure presentation link and password.
  7. Open the secure link, log in with the password, and present using next/previous buttons, keyboard arrows, spacebar, fullscreen, pointer, notes, or the QR-code-based remote.
