What this video covers
The video shows how to use the Pitchdeck Figma plugin to export slides from Figma Slides into a Keynote-compatible PPTX file. It also demonstrates opening the exported file in the Apple Keynote app and editing the slides natively there.
Things you'll need
- A normal Figma design file
- A Figma Slides file
- The Pitchdeck Figma plugin
Steps
- Open a new normal Figma design file and locate the Pitchdeck plugin from the Resources icon, then save or run it.
- Return to your Figma Slides file, open a template with View template, and add the slides to the deck.
- Switch Figma Slides to grid view, select the slides you want, and copy them.
- Go back to the normal Figma design file and paste the copied slides onto the canvas so the frames are available to Pitchdeck.
- Refresh frames in the Pitchdeck plugin, then open the export menu and choose the presentation apps group with Keynote (pptx) selected.
- Click export for Keynote, download the PPTX file, and open it with Keynote on Mac.
- Review and edit the imported slides in Keynote as needed.
