What this video covers

The video shows how to use the Pitchdeck Figma plugin to export slides from Figma Slides into a Keynote-compatible PPTX file. It also demonstrates opening the exported file in the Apple Keynote app and editing the slides natively there.

Things you'll need

  • A normal Figma design file
  • A Figma Slides file
  • The Pitchdeck Figma plugin

Steps

  1. Open a new normal Figma design file and locate the Pitchdeck plugin from the Resources icon, then save or run it.
  2. Return to your Figma Slides file, open a template with View template, and add the slides to the deck.
  3. Switch Figma Slides to grid view, select the slides you want, and copy them.
  4. Go back to the normal Figma design file and paste the copied slides onto the canvas so the frames are available to Pitchdeck.
  5. Refresh frames in the Pitchdeck plugin, then open the export menu and choose the presentation apps group with Keynote (pptx) selected.
  6. Click export for Keynote, download the PPTX file, and open it with Keynote on Mac.
  7. Review and edit the imported slides in Keynote as needed.
