What this video covers

This tutorial shows how to use the Pitchdeck Figma plugin to automatically reorder and tidy slides into a grid based on the slide order in the plugin. It also shows how to manually drag and drop slides, uncheck slides to exclude them from exports, and optionally fade unchecked slides.

Things you'll need

  • A Figma file
  • The Pitchdeck Figma plugin

Steps

  1. Open Figma, search for Pitchdeck in Resources under the Plugins tab, and save or run the plugin from Saved plugins.
  2. Load your slides in Pitchdeck and set the slide order you want in the plugin, since that order is the source of truth for tidying.
  3. Open the page icon panel in the top left of the Pitchdeck plugin.
  4. Choose how many slides you want per row, such as 12, and optionally enable the fade effect for unchecked slides.
  5. Click the reorder and tidy Figma slides button to arrange the slides into a grid on the canvas.
  6. If needed, drag and drop slides in Pitchdeck or uncheck slides to remove them from exports like PDF, PowerPoint, or the web presentation.
  7. Repeat reorder and tidy after changing the plugin order, and turn off the fade toggle to reset unchecked slides back to 100% opacity.
