Video Tutorial: Self-hosting your Figma presentation on a custom domain
This video walks through how to self-host your Figma presentation on a custom domain with the Pitchdeck plugin.
To download the HTML file, click the Export Presentation button in the Pitchdeck toolbar, then ensure the Pitchdeck Presentation (Web URL) option is selected as the presentation export format. Once you've configured your export settings, you can click the Upload Web Presentation button to begin uploading your slides.
Once the upload has completed, click on the Get Embed Code (Self-Hosted) accordion option at the bottom of the upload the confirmation window, then click the Download HTML File button to download an index.html file directly to your computer.
The single index.html file that's downloaded from the Pitchdeck plugin is pre-configured with your Pitchdeck presentation URL, and will automatically load a responsive <iframe> embed onto the page when it's deployed (please see below for some simple hosting platform options to upload your HTML file) and opened in the browser.
By default, the embed is password protected, but you can optionally enable the Auto Login toggle to automatically login when the page (hosted on your own custom URL) is loaded.
Platforms where you can self-host your Pitchdeck HTML file
The index.html file that's downloaded from the Pitchdeck plugin can be hosted anywhere you like (for example, an Amazon S3 bucket or any web server you already have access to).
