Export presentations to Google Slides

What this video covers

This video shows how to use the Pitchdeck Figma plugin to export a Figma presentation deck to Google Slides. It covers installing the plugin, arranging slides and speaker notes in Pitchdeck, exporting as a PowerPoint file, and opening that file in Google Slides.

Things you'll need

  • A Figma file with top-level frames for the presentation
  • The Pitchdeck Presentation Studio plugin installed in Figma
  • A Google account with Google Slides access

Steps

  1. Install the Pitchdeck Presentation Studio plugin from Figma Community if it is not already installed.
  2. In Figma, right-click the presentation file, go to plugins, and open Pitchdeck Presentation Studio.
  3. Review the imported top-level frames as slides, reorder them if needed, and add speaker notes to each slide.
  4. Select the export format drop-down, choose PowerPoint file, and click Export PowerPoint.
  5. Save the exported file to your computer.
  6. Open Google Slides, create or open a blank presentation, then go to File, Open, and upload the exported PowerPoint file.
  7. After the file opens in Google Slides, edit slide elements and add animations there if needed.
