Video Tutorial: Add Bleed and Crop Marks to PDF exports from Figma

This video walks through how to add bleed and crop marks to PDF exports from Figma using the TinyImage plugin.

If you need print-ready output:

1. Open the Print tab and configure the page size, margins, bleed, and crop marks.
2. Select Create Pages to generate the print pages as Figma frames.
3. Open the PDF tab and select the generated frames.
4. Select Export PDF.

The Print tab creates and lays out print pages. PDF export remains in the dedicated PDF tab, so you can review or edit the generated frames before exporting them.

The Print tab is available in Figma Design. If you are working in FigJam or another Figma editor, open the file in Figma Design before creating print pages.

Configure the print pages

Choose a paper size and orientation, or enter a custom width and height. The pixel preview updates from the selected measurement unit and DPI. TinyImage supports 72, 150, and 300 DPI.

You can also configure:

• The number of pages to create, from 1 to 100.
• Separate margins and bleed values for each edge.
• Crop mark weight, offset, and length.
• Whether bleed expands the page or stays within the selected page size.

Bleed and crop marks are enabled by default. Crop mark settings are only available while bleed is enabled.

Select Save Preset to keep a custom print preset for later use. If a value is invalid, TinyImage identifies the affected field and keeps Create Pages disabled until the setup is valid.

Choose measurement units

You can set bleed values in:

• Millimetres (default)
• Inches

Use the unit dropdown to switch units before entering bleed values.
