Bulk export original image files from any Figma layer fills

This tutorial shows how to use the TinyImage Figma plugin to export the original image files used in Figma image fills. It demonstrates finding the plugin, selecting image fills in the Downsizer view, and exporting them as a zip file for a frame or the whole file.

This tutorial shows how to use the TinyImage Figma plugin to export the original image files used in Figma image fills. It demonstrates finding the plugin, selecting image fills in the Downsizer view, and exporting them as a zip file for a frame or the whole file.

Steps

  1. Open the Resources icon in Figma, search for TinyImage under the Plugins tab, and run or save the plugin.
  2. In the TinyImage plugin, click Downsizer to view the image fills on the page.
  3. Optionally narrow the results by selecting a frame and using the refresh icon to find fills only in that frame.
  4. Select the image fills you want, or refresh without a selection to load all fills on the page.
  5. Click Export Figma Image Fills to export the selected fills as a zip file.
  6. Open the zip file to access the exported original image files.
  7. Repeat the same process for other frames or the entire file if needed.
