This video shows how to use the TinyImage Figma plugin to export PNGs from Figma with an embedded custom ICC color space profile. It walks through selecting a PNG color profile such as P3, choosing ICC version 4 or 2, and exporting files for comparison with standard Figma exports.

Things you'll need

• Figma
• The TinyImage Figma plugin
• Figma layers already set up with PNG export settings

Steps

1. Open Figma Resources, search for TinyImage, and run it or save it as a plugin.
2. Select the Figma layers you want to export and add PNG export settings in the right sidebar.
3. Open TinyImage and click Refresh to load the PNG export settings from Figma.
4. Select Settings, use the Images tab in Export Settings, and change PNG Color Profile from Figma to the desired profile, such as a Display P3 option.
5. Leave ICC version 4 enabled or switch to ICC version 2 if needed.
6. Close Settings and click Export to create PNGs with the embedded ICC profile.
7. Compare the TinyImage-exported PNGs with regular Figma exports to see the color space difference.
