What this video covers
This tutorial shows how to use the TinyImage Figma plugin to export PDFs without the black border outlines that Figma adds around links. It also demonstrates exporting either a merged PDF from multiple frames or individual PDF files from selected frames.
Things you'll need
- A Figma file with frames and links you want to export.
- The TinyImage Figma plugin installed or saved in your Figma plugins list.
Steps
- Open your Figma file and use Resources to search for TinyImage under the Plugins tab, then run or save the plugin.
- In TinyImage, click Create PDF to list the frames on the current page and choose the frames you want to export.
- Open the settings and make sure Outline Links is turned off to remove the black link borders.
- Click Export PDF to create a compressed PDF without the default link outline.
- For individual PDFs, select the frames in Figma, add PDF in the Export section, and refresh the exportable layers in TinyImage.
- Keep Outline Links turned off, then click Export to generate a zip containing separate PDF files.
