What this video covers
Learn to crop, colour-correct and retouch images in Figma, apply filters and effects, compare edits, save projects and apply a shared look to multiple image layers.
Things you'll need
- A Figma Design file with image layers to edit
- TinyImage installed in Figma
Steps
- Run TinyImage and open the Editor tab.
- Select an image layer and choose Use selected Figma layer, or open an image from your computer.
- Adjust exposure, contrast, colour temperature, saturation and curves; use Undo, Redo or History to revisit edits.
- Hold Before or enable Compare to check the original against your edits.
- Choose a filter, then add effects such as blur or film grain. Adjust, reorder or remove effects as needed.
- Insert a new image, replace the existing fill or download the edited image to your computer.
- Save a project, then reopen it to continue with the original image and editing settings.
- Select multiple image layers and open Batch edit to preview the shared settings, then insert, replace or download the selected results.
- Use Crop to adjust the framing, rotate or flip the image, then apply the crop.
- For a small touch-up, choose Content-aware fill in Retouch, brush over the unwanted detail and choose Apply fill.
