What this video covers

This tutorial shows how to find Figma Motion animations on the current page, select multiple frames, and export them in one batch as compressed GIFs or MP4 videos. It also covers scale, frame rate, looping, compression, size targets, video quality, ZIP downloads, and TinyImage's automatic fallback for Figma Starter-plan export limits.

Things you'll need

  • A Figma Design file with one or more top-level frames that contain Figma Motion animations
  • The TinyImage Figma plugin

Steps

  1. Open TinyImage, select the GIF tab, and open Figma Motion Export.
  2. Review the Motion frames found on the current page, rescan if needed, and select the animations to export.
  3. For animated GIF output, configure the scale, frame rate, looping, colour count, compression, and optional size target.
  4. Export the selected GIF animations. TinyImage downloads one file directly or packages multiple files in a ZIP archive.
  5. For MP4 output, choose the scale, 30 or 60 FPS, and the Low, Medium, or High quality preset.
  6. Export the selected MP4 animations and review the downloaded files.
  7. If a Starter-plan render exceeds 1920 × 1080 or 30 FPS, let TinyImage retry within those limits without changing the original frame.
