Things you'll need

  • A Figma file open in the browser or Figma desktop app

Steps

  1. Open a Figma file in the browser or the Figma desktop app.
  2. Click Actions in the bottom toolbar, then open the Plugins & widgets tab.
  3. Search for a plugin by name, open its result, and click Save to add it to your Figma plugins list.
  4. To run it, right-click on the canvas, go to Plugins, and select the plugin under Saved plugins.
  5. To remove it from the Actions panel, open Plugins & widgets, click the three dots next to the saved plugin, and choose Remove.
  6. To install from Figma Community, open the plugin’s Community page and click the bookmark Save icon.
  7. To uninstall from Figma Community, click the bookmark icon again to Remove from saves.
