Things you'll need

  • Figma
  • The TinyImage Figma plugin

Steps

  1. Open the Resources menu in Figma, search for TinyImage in the Plugins tab, and run or save the TinyImage Figma plugin.
  2. Select the image layers you want to animate in your Figma design.
  3. Click Create GIF/MP4 in the plugin to generate the preview.
  4. Adjust the frame delay, any per-frame overrides, and the size mode such as Cover or Contain, plus the export scale if needed.
  5. Change the export format from GIF to MP4 Video.
  6. Optionally reorder the frames by sorting or drag and drop.
  7. Click Export MP4 and save the .mp4 file to your computer.
