This video tutorial is a complete step-by-step guide showing you how to animate and export WebM videos from your design's layers directly from Figma using the TinyImage plugin.

TinyImage supports exporting animations as .webm videos using the same animation editor UI and workflow as the GIF exporter.

Using the same animation editor as GIF exports ​

The WebM workflow uses the same frame selection, ordering, timing, transition, and preview controls as the GIF workflow.

Exporting to WebM format ​

Once your animation preview is ready:

  1. Open the export format dropdown in the animation toolbar.
  2. Select WebM Video.
  3. Click Export to render your .webm file.

After rendering finishes, TinyImage will automatically download the exported WebM file to your computer.
