Things you'll need

  • Figma
  • CopyDoc Figma plugin
  • A CSV spreadsheet file

Steps

  1. Install CopyDoc from the Figma Community Plugins tab.
  2. Prepare a CSV spreadsheet where the first row contains headers that match Figma layer names such as #Title, #Reviews, and #Poster.
  3. Add content rows to the CSV, including image URLs for image fields, then save the file as .csv.
  4. Open the CopyDoc plugin in Figma by right-clicking the canvas and choosing Plugins > CopyDoc.
  5. Click Sync Content, then drag and drop the CSV file into the plugin to load the headers and preview the rows.
  6. Duplicate the original component or other repeatable Figma layer for each spreadsheet row, then select all of the duplicated layers.
  7. Click Sync Spreadsheet Rows with Figma Layers to replace matching text and image layers with content from each CSV row.
