The command menu lets you find and run CopyDoc actions by typing, without hunting through panels. It works while the CopyDoc plugin window is open.
Open the command menu
- Open CopyDoc in Figma.
- Press Command + K on macOS or Ctrl + K on Windows, or click the ⌘ K button at the top right of the home screen, above the tool list. It's also in the header of each tool panel, next to the close button, so you can switch tools without closing the panel. On Windows the button shows Ctrl K.
- Type to filter, use ↑ and ↓ to choose, then press Enter to run it. Press Esc to close the menu.
Press the shortcut again to close the menu. It doesn't open while another CopyDoc dialog or panel is open, so close that first.
Unavailable items are greyed out for the same reasons as the matching buttons, for example when nothing is selected or a feature needs CopyDoc Pro.
What's in the menu
| Group | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Tools | Every tool on the home screen for the current editor, such as Export Frames, Content Library, Find & Replace, Export Text Layers, Import Text Layers, Spell Check Layers, Localize Frames, Sync Content, Export Comments and Quick Export. |
| Sync | Opens Sync Content on the Content, Table, Styles or Chart tab. Figma Design only. |
| Quick export | Exports the selected text layers using your saved settings, or as CSV, Excel, JSON, Markdown, XLIFF 1.2 or XLIFF 2.0. Your saved export format isn't changed. Figma Design only. |
In Figma Slides and Figma Buzz, the menu shows only the tools available in that editor.
