This video shows how to use the CopyDoc Figma plugin to export Figma frames to Microsoft Word .docx files. It demonstrates exporting a single frame, reordering and selecting multiple frames, and opening the exported document in Microsoft Word with editable text and preserved styling.
Things you'll need

- CopyDoc installed from Figma Community
- Microsoft Word
Steps
- Install CopyDoc from Figma Community if it is not already installed.
- Open your Figma file, then right click and go to Plugins > CopyDoc.
- Choose the option to Export frames to Microsoft Word and click Export Frames to load the frames in the file.
- Select the frames you want to include, then set the export order using the rows, columns, layer order, layer name, or drag-and-drop handles.
- Click Export to DOCX to generate the Microsoft Word document.
- Click Download Word Doc to save the .docx file, then open it in Microsoft Word to review or edit the exported content.
