What this video covers
This tutorial shows how to open the CopyDoc Figma plugin, use the Content Library, and create reusable text expander snippets. It demonstrates adding a shortcut trigger like slash slash CTA or slash slash nav, then typing the trigger in a text layer to expand it into approved copy.

- The CopyDoc Figma plugin
Steps
- Open a Figma file, click the Resources icon, search for CopyDoc under the Plugins tab, and run or save the plugin.
- From the canvas, right-click, go to Plugins, and open CopyDoc.
- In CopyDoc, open the Content Library to view and use existing text expander snippets.
- Click Add New Snippet, enter a trigger such as nav, choose a category such as menus, and add one or more text content variants.
- Click Save New Snippet to add it to the library.
- Type the shortcut trigger in a text layer, such as slash slash nav or slash slash CTA, to expand it into the saved snippet.
- Use the copy/paste workflow for triggers as needed, and optionally import or export snippets in CSV for bulk management.
