Things you'll need

  • Figma
  • The CopyDoc plugin installed

Steps

  1. Search for CopyDoc in Figma Community under the Plugins tab and click Install.
  2. Return to your Figma design, right-click, then go to Plugins and open CopyDoc.
  3. With the plugin open, click a Figma text layer to view its character, word, sentence, and paragraph counts.
  4. Select a larger text block to see counts for that layer update automatically.
  5. Select multiple text layers at once, either on the canvas or in the left-hand Layers panel, to count them together.
